Skipper training & Harbor Maneuvers
Mistakes are part of the learning process. That’s why we embrace them during our skipper training, allowing you to learn from every experience. By doing so, you’ll be better equipped to handle similar situations confidently and with ease. Our training is designed to help you master the basics, review them at your own pace, and refine your skills through focused practice. Small groups, expert instructors, top-notch yachts, and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere make our skipper training both effective and enjoyable!
Interactive learning materials, simulators, and videos ensure you’re fully prepared for both your harbor maneuvers and skipper training.
Hands-on Sailing Trip
During your practice week, you’ll have the chance to apply your theoretical knowledge in real sailing situations, with one of our experienced skippers by your side. This is where maneuver training, skipper coaching, and a sailing holiday come together. Plus, you’ll earn miles for your sailing certificate along the way.
Soon, you’ll be ready to cast off and steer your own course on the water. Until then, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
Sail Trim Training
Our sail trim training offers you an intensive experience focusing on topics such as onboard trimming systems and the physics of sailing, ensuring that tacks and jibes are as safe and efficient as possible. You’ll learn the perfect trim for different wind and sea conditions, how to sail the ideal upwind course, safety on downwind courses, handling storm sails, reefing, and heeling techniques.
Our yachts are equipped with high-quality lines from Robline and OneSails sails, so that even the finest adjustments to your trim will be immediately noticeable.
Safety Training
The World Sailing Safety Course equips both racing and cruising sailors with the essential skills and knowledge to prevent and handle emergencies at sea. While the course meets the training requirements for many offshore regattas, it’s also ideal for those planning blue-water voyages, where immediate assistance may not be available.
Our goal is to give as many sailors as possible a deeper understanding of how to handle distress situations. We invite you to join us in practicing real-life emergency scenarios by taking part in our one-day or two-day World Sailing Safety Training course.
