What Are the Exact Training Times?

The courses run from Saturday at 2:00 PM to Tuesday at 1:00 PM, or from Tuesday at 5:00 PM to Friday at 5:30 PM (including an overnight stay on the boat until Saturday). Each training day starts at 9:15 AM and usually ends between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM. There is a short lunch break to recharge during the day.

Are there Hotel Recommendations and Special Deals with Partner Hotels?

We’re happy to assist you with accommodations in collaboration with hotels and apartments. We recommend one of our cozy Apartments centrally located in Punat. At Hotel Kanajt, you’ll receive a 10% discount for IN2THEBLUE skipper training participants, and apartments with two extra rooms are available starting at €65 per night.

Can I book a single cabin?

We’ll do our best to accommodate your request, but this depends on availability. Feel free to reach out to us, and we’ll check what we can arrange for you.

What Do I Need to Consider When Entering Croatia?

Nothing special – Croatia is part of the EU and the Schengen Area, and since 2024, it has also joined the Eurozone.

Do I Need to Bring Bedding, a Sleeping Bag, and Towels?

Bedding is provided. A sleeping bag can be useful during the spring and autumn months. Towels, however, are NOT provided, so please make sure to bring your own.

Do I Need Foul-Weather Gear & Sailing Boots?

For safety reasons, appropriate footwear—ideally with light-colored soles—is required, depending on the season. Please bring these with you. Foul-weather gear can be rented from us for a fee.

Carpooling

Carpooling is, of course, possible. Due to data protection regulations, we cannot share participants’ contact details directly. However, we’re happy to reach out to others on your behalf and connect you. When booking, you can also sign up for our car-sharing forum.

Parking Options in Punat

You can park your car directly at the marina, but we recommend our customers use the paid parking lot at Hotel Kanajt. It’s more affordable than parking at the marina and just as close. Free parking outside the marina is very limited.

Food & Drinks

We offer the best breakfast in Punat at our IN2THEBAR. For lunch, you can order a packed meal. In the evenings, it has become a tradition for everyone to dine together. Please note that the skipper’s meal is NOT to be paid for by the crew.
